Our firm has created a framework to ensure customer care is paramount throughout the investment relationship:
 

Memorandum of Understanding – Prior to implementation of any investment strategy, we draft a Memorandum of Understanding summarizing the client’s needs, wants and long-term financial objectives. The Memorandum defines the target asset allocation between common stock and fixed income obligations and provides a blueprint to managing the client’s financial assets.

Risk Profile Questionnaire – Developed by FinaMetrica, the questionnaire provides assistance reconciling a client’s risk tolerance to a suitable asset allocation.

Scheduled Meetings – We conduct formal meetings with clients 2 – 3 times a year to ensure the financial assets are properly positioned to achieve the client’s long-term financial objectives. The Memorandum provides a basis for this review.

Correspondence

Monthly - Our Clearing Agent, Southwest Securities, distributes a monthly statement summarizing security positions and account activity. A confirmation is generated by Southwest Securities for any trade executed in the client’s account.

Quarterly - Our Firm prepares a Quarterly Report summarizing security positions by market value and historical cost, gains / losses, anticipated annual income, asset allocation and diversification by issue and industry.

Annually – Southwest Securities distributes all calendar year-end tax reports directly to the client.

Account Access – Online access to client accounts is available upon request.

Personnel Access – Employees of Gurun Investment Advisors are available for questions and consultation.
