Individual accounts at Southwest Securities are afforded unlimited protection, with an aggregate limit Of $100 million. The Securities Protection Corporation (SPIC) fund provides coverage for individual customer securities up to $500,000 with a limitation of $100,000 on claims for cash. Southwest Securities purchase an Excess Securities Bond from a major insurance company to supplement the basic coverage.
